Soccer has changed my life

Soccer is involved in my life perception, well, i live in a diverse society that moves around of ideas, practices and thinkings. the soccer has marked the gentlemen community by generations, people that have a relation with this sport don't have a common lifecycle.

when the "junior" is playing, a big part of the men's community is paralized including me. Barranquilla has many soccer lovers and soccer is a conversation topic in every corner. I don't know if i follow people feelings, but it's true that this sport is part of my culture and is part of the Barranquillero's culture.

Lend Money to..

I would lend money to Martha, because her business generates more profits with a low investment, also, if we compare this business with the other two, an advantage could be that the offered products (cosmetics, jewerly) aren't perishables and are more accepted by people.

Matatu Drivers

1. How are matatu drivers treated in his experience with the BBC?

The matatu drivers recieved an careless treatment by the police. The thought that the drivers are thieves or some like.

2. Do Barranquilleros have the same negative opinion of mototaxistas as the Kenyans have of matatu drivers?

In Barranquilla we can find divided opinions about the mototaxistas, some people think that moves in a motorbike is synomymous to steal or thieve, other opinion is that the mototaxistas need work to survive in the consumism community and if they don't do it the solution could be appeal to rob.

Afrocolombians

The video shows some data of the afro community in Colombia. Through this we can see the deplorable condition of the afrocolombians in matter of education, employment and poverty with a low rate, moreover, every day the afro community suffer discrimination or racial segregation by other people, this fact prevent the progress or development of the afro people in the society.

Favorite carnival moments

My favorite moment in carnival was the "Batalla de Flores", in this, the people show different stuff about carnival through dances and parades, dressing colorful costumes and enjoying with those attending to the celebration.

That parade is made in two avenues in Barranquilla, the first one is the "vía cuarenta", an avenue parallel to the Magdalena river and the second is the 44 avenue that is less showy than the via 40 but the people enjoy it.

Tinariwen

1. What do we learn about Tuareg culture from this video

From the video we can infer that the tuareg people reflect different costumes, for example, The lyric had a content related to drink tea as a relax or meditation method, we can see that they wear a type of suit, that is a characteristic of eastern people.

2. Keeping in mind what you learned from this interview, how does

seeing the visuals within the video and knowing the meaning of

the lyrics give us a deeper understanding of Tuareg culture?

Ok, an explanation for the video content (lyrics and visual) could be that the Tuareg people have a eastern culture, they use a large dress that cover the body, also drink tea and they associate this with heal the heart from a determinated situation (dependency or a type of slavery)
Generally tuareg people try to preserve the costumes through this video, is a form to show to the world who are they.
